THE FLAGSHIP DAY RIDE OF THE REMUTAKA CYCLE TRAIL

Maymorn is the alternate start point for the Remutaka Incline Trail, adding 7km to the southern leg before you hit Kaitoke. The Trail is 25km from start to finish (at Cross Creek in the Wairarapa) or 36km as a there-and-back trip to Summit (a popular option for family groups as you avoid the steep descent to Cross Creek and the cost of a shuttle back to the start), and can be easily ridden in a day.
