Explore the Remutaka Incline trail and beyond, with mountain bike and electric bike hire, and shuttles back from the end of the trail, go for a bush walk in the Kaitoke Forest Park, or take an epic rafting trip through the upper reaches of the Hutt River.

The Remutaka Incline Trail
THE FLAGSHIP DAY RIDE OF THE REMUTAKA CYCLE TRAIL
Kaitoke is the official start point for the Remutaka Incline Trail. The Trail is 18km from start to finish (at Cross Creek in the Wairarapa) or 24km as a there-and-back trip to Summit (a popular option for family groups as you avoid the steep descent to Cross Creek and the cost of a shuttle back to the start), and can be easily ridden in a few hours.
