Careers

Love the outdoors? Love getting others out there too?

With three locations in the Wellington Region, we are passionate about our guests and ensuring they have the best experience possible, either on land or water. But we need a team behind us to make that happen - and to share in these same awesome values as us.

Do you have exceptional customer service? Do you have high energy levels? Perhaps you can build a bike from the box, or teach a kid how to kayak? Lead a bike group along a trail, or even have a passion for admin! We’re after all sorts of skills and talents here at Wildfinder, so if you think you’re the next superstar to join our team, see our available job openings.

Available Openings:

Guest Experience, Tour Host & Shuttle Driver

Wildfinder is an outdoor adventure company, running tours and gear hire that gets people into mountain biking, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and even white water rafting. We’re after awesome guest experience, tour host and shuttle drivers, to become part of the Wildfinder team on a casual full or part time basis.

You’ll be the glue that holds our day trip and multi-day tour operations together - briefing cycle groups, shuttling groups & their belongings around the trail, prepping bikes for tours, and even the odd guiding opportunity! Outside of this, you’ll be based at one of our locations (Pencarrow, Kaitoke, Days Bay or Queens Wharf), as the face of Wildfinder, interacting with our guests and helping them to have an awesome time. Are you the next superstar to join our team?

It's a busy job, and if you’re the right person that’ll be something you thrive on. It's also a hugely varied role, with 2 different fixed locations you could be working out of (or out on the road in one of our shuttle vans), with a mix of weekday & weekend work. Our team prides itself on being inclusive and positive, and that coupled with our clients generally being a stoked bunch that are having awesome adventures, means there’s a great vibe around the place. It’s definitely not your typical job, and if you’re anything like us, you’ll think that’s a great thing.
